Tuition

Tuition is determined by how many classes, shows, camps, or workshops your entire household registers for at a single point in time in a season (fall, winter, spring, summer), with an automatic and growing tuition scholarship as you add more of each.

An Automatic Tuition Scholarship is applied based on the number of classes, shows, camps, or workshops registered for at the same time in a given season for your entire household; therefore, it is applied in this manner:

  • 2 per household receives a 10% Automatic Tuition Scholarship

  • 3 per household receives a 25% Automatic Tuition Scholarship

  • 4 per household receives a 30% Automatic Tuition Scholarship

  • 5 per household receives a 35% Automatic Tuition Scholarship

  • 6 or more per household receives a 40% Automatic Tuition Scholarship

What exactly is an Automatic Tuition Scholarship?

We recognize that finances can be a barrier to participating in Lovegood; especially for families who have more than one student and/or want to be involved in more than one class, show, camp, or workshop. Lovegood was set up as a nonprofit so we do not have to worry about generating a profit and can instead focus on bringing the performing arts to as many young people in our community as possible.

The Lovegood founding board intentionally built a financial model that will use donations and grants to provide automatic and growing tuition scholarships to all families who have more than one student or have a student that participates in more than one class, show, camp, or workshop. Some organizations call this a multi-student or multi-class discount. The automatic tuition scholarship is how we make Lovegood programs as accessible as possible while recognizing that there is a need to cover the costs associated with creating a quality product.

Tuition costs should NEVER get in the way of a student being able to participate in Lovegood. We therefore provide additional need-based scholarships on top of our automatic scholarships. Please contact us for more information.
