Audition Callboard

Hello and welcome to Lovegood Performing Arts Company! We are so excited you are here! In order to audition for our shows you need to do 3 simple things: 

  1. Review the Show Tuition options & pick a plan

  2. Fill out the Audition Form 

  3. Review the audition confirmation email for next steps

    Submission deadline for audition form: Monday, March 10th

    You will find general audition information below. 

General Show Schedule

Rehearsals begin April 8th. We typically rehearse Tuesday and Friday evening and Saturday morning/afternoon. Opening night will be Friday, May 23rd, with performances for two weekends. Please fill out the audition form to see specific dates and times and let us know any pre-scheduled conflicts.

*Everyone in the cast will receive a specific rehearsal schedule based on the role(s) received and may not be called to every rehearsal for the full time.

Show Tuition/Production Teams

This is a pay to play theatre; you are paying for an amazing educational experience where receptivity, ownership, courage and authenticity are at the core of this amazing performance. Your show tuition will depend on a myriad of factors. Scholarships are available. All tuition information is kept private and doesn’t affect casting. Please review payment options here.

Auditions

March 11th, slots available between 5pm-9pm.

  • Auditions are open for everyone ages 8 and older. Yes really, there's no age limit! 

  • Auditions are closed to visitors; however parents/guardians are welcome to wait in the waiting room. Please arrive no more than 20 min before your audition. 

  • Please fill out the Audition Form. You will receive a confirmation email the next business day with a link to select your specific audition time slot.

Bring to Auditions

You will need sheet music (no tracks or acapella please) with 32 bars clearly marked and in a binder for the accompanist to play. Please watch this short video if this is new to you! *Note this is an old video and when she says 16 bars she really means 32.

Callbacks

Invitation only on March 14th between 5pm-9pm. Actors may be cast in a show with or without receiving a callback invitation.

Virtual Auditions

In person auditions are preferred.  However, if you have a non-negotiable commitment that keeps you from auditioning in person, we will be accepting virtual auditions. All videos must be submitted by Monday, March 10th. If you select virtual audition in your audition form, you will be emailed the instructions and link to submit your materials.
