Audition Forms (Cast)
In order to audition, everyone must complete the following steps:
Portal account. If your family does not have an account on our Portal, please create one. If you have previously taken any classes (including our Fall TOP class), camps or workshops with Lovegood or have previously auditioned for a show with Lovegood, this has already been completed. If this is your first time, welcome! Please register for our portal. You will not need to register for a class once the account is created. We will handle that after the cast list is announced.
Mailing List. We will be using software to automate callboard post emails. If you are new to theater, the callboard is the website we use to communicate important details with cast and crew during the show process. We will use the email address(es) listed on the Audition Form to email you call board updates. In order for this process to work, the email address(es) on your Audition Form need to be on Lovegood’s mailing list. If you do not know if your address is on our list, you can sign up here. (If you get the emails announcing when Lovegood class registration opens, or Lovegood tickets go on sale, you are already on the list). Regardless of whether you choose to join the mailing list, you will be responsible for all information posted on the callboard.
Production Team Form. Production teams are an essential component of our show process. This is an opportunity to support our actors and artistic team by doing the behind the scenes work required to make our shows amazing. We need help with everything from sets and costumes, to helping with house and concessions. It takes a village to put on a show are we are so thankful for our amazing production team members. We need at least one adult from each family to support the show, but the more the merrier. Please have each adult volunteer fill out the Production Team Form. You will receive SERVE hours.
Audition form. Please complete our Audition Form. Once we process your form, you will receive a copy via email. Please review it, particularly the conflicts section, and verify that all information is complete. Your parent/guardian must also review the form. Respond to the email if any information needs to be updated. Make sure ALL CONFLICTS are listed on the Audition Form. Students with conflicts during any performance will not be cast.
Appointment. Students who are auditioning in person, will need to make an Appointment for an in person Audition. Click HERE to make your appointment for an in person Audition.
Appointment slots are 5 minutes long. That is your check in window. The entire process, including check in, the audition, and check out is usually approximately 15-20 minutes.
If you don’t see any slots, please make sure you navigate the calendar to February 26 (by default the view starts at today).
Note that you will need to be logged into a google account to book your own slot. If you do not have a google account and you do not want one, you can email top@lovegood.company with your preferred slot time and we will put you on the schedule.
Auditions will be held on Monday, February 26 at FBHS. Checkin’s will be in the back lobby outside the auditorium. Appointments must be made by 11:59pm on Sunday, February 25.
If you are in town on Monday, February 26, but none of the available times work for you, please reach out to top@lovegood.company.
Please be ready at or before your check in time.
