Improv for Teens and Young Adults

We are excited to offer a guaranteed performance opportunity for students aged 13-22. Improvisation is an incredible way for students to learn important stage and life skills! Improv teaches students to focus, listen carefully, and be a good team member. In this camp we'll go over improv vocabulary, techniques and games! Expect to learn to create zany characters, intricate environments and grow your imagination!

Note: This camp meets with younger students for one hour, and then will split, so older students are able to work on their craft with a dedicated instructor. 

Camp will be from 6pm-9pm August 7-10 with a Performance at 6:30 pm Friday, August 11 with Students to arrive at 6pm.

• Age Range: 13-22

• Registration: Registration is open now and will remain open until camps fill or until the registration deadline.

  • Early Bird Registration (register by this date for reduced tuition): May 16.

  • Registration Deadline: August 6

• Tuition, Fees, and Discounts:

  • Camp Tuition: $205 ($180 with Early Bird Discount)

  • Production fee: $0. Production fees allow us to pay royalties to put on the show and provides a budget for supplies such as props and costumes.

  • Early Bird Discount: $25 if registered by May 16.

  • Automatic Tuition Scholarship: This camp does not qualify for our automatic tuition scholarship.

  • Service Scholarship: Lovegood offers a service scholarship for households whose primary income comes from ministry, military, education and 501(c)(3) nonprofits.

  • Need Based Scholarship: Money should never be a reason for a student not to participate. Learn about our need based scholarships that are available for all of our classes, camps and workshops.

  • Billing and Payment Policies: Unless we cancel a class or camp based on failing to meet minimum enrollment, we do not offer refunds. All tuition and fees must be paid at registration unless you request a payment plan. Review all of our billing and payment policies here.
