Sketch Comedy

At Lovegood, we are very used to telling fun and compelling stories. Have you ever been hanging with your pals and come across an idea for a fun scene that would be funny to put on stage? Something like, “Mom always sneaks random nutritious items in the homemade desserts” Here is your chance to build out a scene and write a rough script to put on stage. This is how comedy GOLD happens. This class will use the tenets of IMPROV as a good foundation for building a good scene. We will take it from there and perfect scenes to their potential. This will end with trying out our scenes on stage for the exhibition. Who knows what can happen from there?

We are excited to offer this guaranteed performance opportunity for students aged 11-22 who have taken Improv II.

This class will meet Thursdays from 6pm-8pm and will perform at an unticketed Exhibition on Thursday, May 23.

Whether you are a returning student or new to the team, thank you for helping us to entertain, educate, and inspire!
